Amercian Revolution/ Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston on 1706-1790. As a young man he settled in Philadelphia. He was an inventor, scientist, publisher, philosopher, postmaster general, diplomat, and political leader. He served on the committee of Congress to write the Declaration of Independence, and he was also a delegate to the Constitutional Convention in 1787.
